Terms and Conditions

Prices

The price is per week, from Saturday at 3pm until Saturday 10am
The price includes bed linen, towels, heating and lighting
A £10 charge is payable per dog/cat
A housekeeping deposit of £100 is required with the balance of the payment. This deposit will be returned after your stay assuming nothing is broken or damaged

Payment

A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking
The balance is required 4 weeks prior to the start of your holiday and should include any additional cost for dogs/cats plus the housekeeping deposit
Upon receipt of your deposit we will confirm your booking by E mail or in writing
If you are booking 4 weeks or less prior to the start of your holiday,then the price should be paid in full at the time of booking
If we do not receive your balance by 3 weeks prior to your holiday start date then the booking will be considered as cancelled

Cancellations

If your booking is cancelled prior to 4 weeks of start of holiday, we will return your deposit only once we have secured an alternative booking for your holiday period
If your booking is cancelled after 4 weeks prior to start of your holiday then deposit will be retained

Pets

Dogs/cats are welcome but must be specified in the booking form
Any damage by dogs/cats must be paid for
Dogs/cats must be kept off the furniture
Dogs/cats mess must be cleared from back garden if mess is left a £50 cleaning charge will be made

Smoking

Arrival and departure times

On the day of your arrival the cottage will be ready for you by 3pm. If you think you will be late please let us know
On the day of your departure , please vacate the cottage by 10am to allow us to make it ready for the next guests

General

When using bath/shower it is essential that bath mats provided are always used to prevent accidents
You agree to keep the property and its fittings, fixtures and contents in the same state as at the start of your stay
You agree to make good any damage, breakage or loss that may occur during the period of your holiday let
The property should be left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of your stay
To book Findhorn Brae Cottage you must be over 18
The only occupants of the cottage during the holiday let will be those detailed in the booking form
